I'm quietly celebrating the 4th of July in Bayview, Idaho, where we celebrated Bayview Daze on July 1st this year. In contrast to this day, last Saturday was full of fun, excitement, friends and family. There was an awesome parade to start the day and even more awesome fireworks to end the day.
I've been in Bayview to see the fireworks show for many years, and I've been in Bethel Alaska on the 4th of July to see the fireworks for many years. I must say, they are a little different to watch in Alaska on this day of the year!.
